Overall it didn't seem that difficult to piece together a graphical application. I'm not sure I fully understood the bits on "outlets", "targets", and "actions". I will need to play with it some more before I'm sure I have those concepts.

I found the graphical Interface Builder straightforward, but I'm still not all that impressed with X-Code itself. I've used a lot nicer IDE's in my day.
