My southern friend over at Hickory Wind recounts his 8 hour drive home from work during the Raleigh, NC snow "storm."

"When I finally got to my exit, I found there were around two dozen cars, smashed up or just abandoned, littering the exit. A cop was directing people around and through the maze. Then I found out why there were so many derelict cars -- the exit was a solid sheet of ice."
